One Young World Summit as an Audi Scholar

Less than two weeks ago, CLEAR RIVERS Project Manager Francesca Alberti had the priceless opportunity to attend the One Young World Summit 2021 in Munich: one of the world’s biggest and most impactful youth leadership Summit.

Joining the Summit as one of the #Audi Scholars, is a great chance to connect with young leaders from 190+ countries all working to accelerate social impact; a place where young leaders raise their voices and together lead the charge for a brighter future.

Moving the Recycled Park

We are happy to announce that CLEAR RIVERS’ office is moving! From August on you may find us, and Recycled Park, in Persoonshaven, Rotterdam! Please come visit us in our brand new floating office where you will also be able to learn more about our new projects. We would like to thank the City of Rotterdam for their collaboration.

New Litter Trap in Zwolle, the Netherlands!

CLEAR RIVERS officially started a new pilot project in Overijssel with the aim of retrieving, monitoring, researching, and recycling plastic from the river IJssel.

Throughout the pilot, the plastic litter will be monitored for quantity, composition, and type of plastic.

Subsequently, CLEAR RIVERS, together with regional partners, research centers, and circular entrepreneurs will research how the retrieved plastic can be locally recycled.

The pilot is a CLEAR RIVERS’ initiative, supported by the Provincie Overijssel, the Gemeente Zwolle, SC Johnson, Rijkswaterstaat and ENGIE. Various partners are participating in the Pilot, such as Saxion University of Applied Sciences, Windesheim, OOZ, Natuur & Milieu.

We cannot wait to see the first results.
