On the 26th of January CLEAR RIVERS, together with its consortium partners, will present its project at the Climate Adaptation Summit 2021.
We are part of the consortium winner of the Agro-Water Competition, for the category Flood Based Systems, organized by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Vietnam.
The feasibility study, that the consortium is carrying out at the moment, aims at looking into how marine plastic litter could be recycled and turned into floating platforms for agricultural purposes and water storage in flood and drought-prone areas such as the Mekong Delta as a tool to enhance farmers’ livelihood, combat climate change and reduce plastic pollution.
